This is a powerful woven fiber warrior mask from the Kambot region. Used in war dance, the mask displays old boar tusks and cassowary feathers attached to enhance appearances. Evidence of ongoing use is visable with encrusted patina throughout. Small nassa shells complete the details of the piece.
